Sustainable Business Initiatives Cyprus began for us in 2019, when I started a project that was very close to my heart. With the message “Let’s be kind to the planet this Christmas: Don’t cut a tree – PLANT ONE!”, Go Digital Globally launched its first major eco-friendly initiative. We chose to support the ambitious goal of planting 100,000 Trees in Larnaca.
I remember telling everyone: “Plant a tree with your children, watch it grow, and remember that you planted it at the beginning of 2020!” It wasn’t just a social media campaign; it was a call to take action because we can all make a difference in the world.
On January 5th, 2020, we joined Luba Samoylova and the Little Green People in Oroklini. That day, we successfully planted our first four trees. It was a small step, but as I always say: We don’t need to ban cars; we need to electrify them. We don’t need to stop living; we need to live with better decisions.
Planting trees is a systemic change that reduces a carbon footprint whether people care or not. This is an action that Go Digital Globally remains committed to.

Fast forward to today. A tree isn’t just “planted” and forgotten—much like a Digital Growth Ecosystem, it needs nurturing to survive the harsh Cyprus elements.
Last summer, when the heat was intense and the land was bone-dry, I was quietly visiting our trees in Oroklini to water them. It’s a choice we face every day: Do I take the extra step to ensure something survives, or do I leave it to chance? This winter, after the heavy rains, I went back. Seeing them now—vibrant, strong, and green—reminded me why we do this. In business and in nature, Resilience is built in the quiet moments of maintenance.
