Aggeliki Athanasiadi has been working as a visual communication designer since 1999. Since 2009 she has been living and working in Cyprus. She studied graphic design at AKTO [Athens, Greece], having acquired a strong background in print and digital communication and advertising. He worked with advertising companies, as a freelancer, as well as in big printing houses in Athens. She has served as an Assistant Art Director at the Attica Publishing Group for PC Magazine. Her collaboration with the creative agency Syllipsis for the Creation of the albums “Greek Political Cartoon – The Serious Side of a Funny Art” and “150 Years of Varvakio – The School Life in a Historic School”, was of great significance. She has also worked with pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis, Pharmanel, Menarini, UCB.

She has participated in art and graphic design exhibitions in Greece, Cyprus and abroad. She believes in the effectiveness of teamwork and personal and professional development through continuing education. She has completed the state-run three-year educational program in Interior Design, as well as the state-run annual training program in Business Administration in Cyprus. She is certified as an “Adult Vocational Training Teacher” by the HRDA [Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus].

She is a founding member of the Visual Communication Designers Club, VCDC and a member of the C-IDEA International Trainers Association. From July 2014, she maintains the permanent column “Graphic Stories” in the cultural inlet of the Cypriot newspaper Politis. She likes to share her passion and knowledge about design and is always willing to offer to the graphic design community. From 2016 she organizes “Behance Portfolio Reviews” in Cyprus. She is a member of the board of the Cyprus Creative Club, the local representative of the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADC*E).

Founder and Creative Director of Graphic Stories Cyprus, the Annual Conference on Graphic Design and Visual Communication in Cyprus, aiming at the transmission of knowledge and specialized technical training, as well as exploring the modern trends in graphic design. The Graphic Stories album – book is her first authoring work.
